Founded in 1945 by Melvin and Lucile Baer in South Bend, Indiana, what began as Baer's Outfitters blossomed into Baer's Quality Furniture & Interior Design
in the Florida sunshine. The family-owned company opened its first store in the Sunshine State in 1968. One store in Dania soon became
seventeen locations
throughout the state, with the newest location opening in Jacksonville in 2020.
Melvin and Lucile Baer built their business based on one basic vision: offer customers the best brands at the best prices.

The company received the Spirit of Life award from the City of Hope in 2018. The company and family have donated to many local and national causes,
but none is more personal than the fight against cancer. Cancer touches us all in one way or another.
